REGINAH WAINAINA BIOGRAPHY
My name is Reginah Wainaina representing New Hampshire State . I am currently attending Northern Essex College for my Associates in Nursing as I continue practicing as a Licensed Nurse.
I was very fortunate to be introduced to a Forum called Teens and Youth Club Africa in my teenage years which contributed greatly to my interest in Youth Development and creation of self-employment among the youth through nurturing their talents thus leading to sustainable incomes and development as wholesome entity. Youth unemployment is great challenge in Kenya, as they are more educated youths without employment. My platform this year will include Youth Development through encouraging the Youth to step out, establish their talents and passions and use them to create employment to not only themselves but also their peers. Use of Technology is also crucial as modern times have ensured the world is a global village and this will greatly contribute to creating, improving skills and marketing of products worldwide.
I am also very passionate about maternal health and decreasing infant mortality. I believe it’s possible to have 0% Infancy Mortality Rates through Modern Technology and the Great Advancements in Medicine as a whole. Education will also play a big role in enabling improvement of Healthcare in general. Looking forward to use this platform for the betterment of my people and moving a step closer to improving the lives of the Kenyans through different collaborations and education.
