Catherine Kamau is a Kenyan award-winning actress born into a humble background but with a sparkle in her eye. She wanted to make the best of herself from a tender age and her strong mother paved the way for her to believe in herself . Most people would term her journey as “hunger for suc- cess” but really it is the “hunger for peace-of-mind”, which she now works relentlessly to provide for her two beautiful children.
Despite starting her journey into artistry, through singing while doing house chores and helping her mum prepare their meals at home and later getting into school drama clubs, she first got in front of the camera at a sensitive time in her life. She was all her 2-year old son could count on and wasn’t earning enough to make ends meet. She enjoys hosting Karaoke night and came into the limelight for her role in the Citizen TV show, Mother In-Law where she played Celina. She has also featured in other films such as Sue na Jonie (2017-2019), Plan B, and Disconnect on Netflix.
Through her work, she has won numerous awards, is traveling the world meeting great minds to now running her own business and producing her own content while representing international brands.
